ROOTED in Lewis County is working to remove systemic barriers and nurture connections so everyone can grow and thrive. Individuals are empowered to help love flourish, dignity sprout and cultivate lasting, positive change to advance an inclusive, equitable Lewis County for all.
ROOTED partners with Community members, organizations, and local leaders to support events, projects, and initiatives across Lewis County, including but not limited to:
-PRIDE celebrations and LGBTQIA+ community events
-Juneteenth celebrations and cultural programming
-Immigrant solidarity outreach and rapid response efforts
-Educational opportunities, including student field trips and student club funding
-Gender-affirming name change support
-Permits, logistics, and support for community activism
-Mutual aid and community-building initiatives
