About the Business
Discover United Way of Lewis County.
United Way of Lewis County is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to improving lives and strengthening our community by bringing people, resources, and organizations together to create meaningful, lasting change.
Our work focuses on four key areas that contribute to a thriving Lewis County: youth opportunity, financial security, healthy communities, and community resilience. We work alongside nonprofit organizations, schools, businesses, local leaders, donors, volunteers, and community partners to identify needs, develop solutions, and invest resources where they can make the greatest impact.
From increasing access to early learning and literacy opportunities to helping families build greater financial stability, supporting community partnerships, and responding when disaster strikes, United Way serves as a trusted connector and convener for Lewis County. Our work includes initiatives such as Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Reading Buddies, the United Learning Center, Women United programs, and collaborative efforts that address the changing needs of local families.
At the heart of United Way of Lewis County is a simple belief: our community is stronger when we work together. By connecting generosity with opportunity and turning local support into local impact, we are building a stronger, more resilient Lewis County where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
