Based on generous CARES Act funding from the City of Centralia, the Centralia Downtown Association is extending the Marketing Expansion Fund Grants to provide downtown Centralia businesses with additional grants to strengthen online sales and marketing to provide a new or improved streams of income.
What this program covers: Funds may be used to create a website, expand your current website, expand your social media presence to include platforms not currently in use, or get you started on an established e-commerce site like Etsy.
Grants Available: The CDA is offering two grant options to assist small businesses.
- Up to $500. This micro-grant is to support your social media marketing. Use these funds to hire a photographer to take professional photos of your merchandise or shop, hire someone to handle that marketing for you, or us it to cover social media costs like Facebook or Instagram ads.
- Up to $3,000. This grant supports development of your website, adding ecommerce functionality to an existing site.
Who is Eligible: Business owners in the historic district of downtown Centralia bordered by Center St., Tower Ave., Walnut St., and Pearl. Please see map.
Application Deadline: Open until all the funds are committed. All receipts must be submitted by October 10th.
