This day will be filled with a variety of activities, including historical exhibits, storytelling, live music, and special events that celebrate our town’s milestones. Learn about Centralia’s roots and the vision of those who built this community, and enjoy a day of fun that brings together both the past and present. Whether you’re a longtime resident or a first-time visitor, Founder’s Day is the perfect way to celebrate everything that makes Centralia so unique!
5k Fun Run starts at 9am at George Washington Park. Thanks to Run Amok participants will receive a DOUBLE RUN code! All levels welcome.
Join us from 10am-12pm for our volunteer efforts at George Washington Park where we will be sprucing up the area! We will be weeding, picking up garbage, trimming, and laying bark. Register today to get a FREE George Washington T-shirt (while supplies last).
At 1pm we will be having a graveside memorial, remembering our founder. This will be a time for reflection, remembrance, and community connection.
End the day with our Community Mural and live music at Pine Street Plaza. The One Man Jam Band will be playing from 6-8pm! Free and All Welcome.
