Experience the charm of Centralia’s signature event, Summerfest, a cherished day-long celebration on the 4th of July. This event is back and better than ever! Join the City of Centralia and the Centralia Downtown Association for a full day of family friendly fun to celebrate Independence Day.

8:30 am 5k Fun Run hosted by Run Amok Irish Running Club. Start at the Centralia College clock tower. Canned good donations are appreciated but not required for participation. All donations will be given to the Centralia College Food Pantry.
8am-1oam FREE Pancake Breakfast in the Trans Alta Commons at Centralia College, brought to you by Centralia Rotary and Sierra Pacific.

10am-12pm Field activities at Centralia College’s Bob Peters Field, featuring an obstacle course, sports activities, bubbles and more!
10am-2pm Borst Home Tours
10am-6pm Across from Pine Street Plaza, you’ll find a vibrant lineup of vendors serving up tasty treats, delicious drinks, and unique goods. From shopping and snacking to discovering local favorites, there's something for everyone. Come Dine & Discover with us this Independence Day!
Summerfest Fun in George Washington Park!
Join us from 11:00 AM – 3:30 PM in George Washington Park (in front of the Centralia Timberland Library) for family-friendly activities hosted by Cooks Hill Community Church.
🫧 Don't miss the FOAM PARTY from 12:00–1:00 PM by Crazy Fun Foam Party — bring a towel!
🎶 Enjoy live music by Grooveyard throughout the event.
Feeling thirsty? Grab some refreshing water generously donated from The Water Doctor of Washington!
4pm The annual downtown Summerfest Parade, with announcer Brian Watson of The Chronicle. Live commentary will take place on stage at Pine Street Plaza. Our amazing Grand Marshal for our 150 year celebrations is none other than Brian Mittge!

Fireworks Are Back!
Thanks to the support of GESA Credit Union, the 4th of July Fireworks Show will light up the sky at 10:20 PM from the SW Washington Fairgrounds, brought to you by Wolverine West Fireworks. While the fairgrounds will be closed to the public, the show will be visible for miles!
Please remember: personal fireworks are not allowed in private lots or areas surrounding the fairgrounds. Let’s celebrate safely and responsibly!
Back for 2025 is a FREE shuttle service provided by Lewis County Transit with event parking at the Fairway Shopping Center and overflow parking at Centralia High School and Across from HUBBUB on North Tower, which should alleviate any downtown parking issues and allow attendees to ride worry free between event locations and spend the whole day enjoying Summerfest. Shuttles will run every 30 minutes, stopping at the parking locations as well as the Centralia Train Depot, George Washington Park, Pear Street by the Centralia College Trans Alta Commons, & by Borst Home from
7am to 7pm.
